Not at all! In fact, we pay for all your meals and provide you with all the hardware and help you need at any time for free.
Where will SteelHacks be held?
SteelHacks 2019 will occur at the Alumni Hall on Pitt's campus, 4227 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15260
I can't register anymore!
Don't panic! Shoot an email to and we'll try to sort it out.
Where will I sleep?
If you're a Pitt student, you can sleep in your residence hall/apartment. For non-Pitt students, the venue will have designated sleeping places.
I missed the confirmation deadline! Can I still come?
Send us an email to, and we'll see if we can find you a spot!
How do I get there?
If you're coming from out-of-state, we unfortunately cannot offer any travel reimbursement at this time. Students at any university in Pittsburgh can simply take a Port Authority bus straight to the event, so that's simple.
